HAPPY TO HAVE MY CAMERA IN HAND

I am not a bird photographer, don’t have the patience, but this weekend I was standing outside with camera in hand and the boys yelled “Mom look a woodpecker”! We looked it up and think it is a Downy Woodpecker to be exact. Normally I would leave to grab my camera, come back and the moment would be lost. I am trying to carry my camera around just in case something is right in front of me that I want to capture, because magic happens every day.
