PRECIOUS SIBLINGS

Meet 3 yr. old Mister K, just barely 2 yr. old Miss O and 7 month old baby M. I am very close to this family and knew I wanted to capture their innocence and energy. Their dad is a talented family and wedding photographer based in Atlanta www.kahnpeterson.com/ but if you have ever tried to photograph your own children you know that it can be pretty challenging. When my own 3 boys were younger they loved to throw things at me or sit on each other while I tried to take a quick picture. Most often I would give up and say I’ll try again later. Sometimes years would go by before I would attempt to coordinate the 3 of them together for a photo session.

One thing I have found when photographing young children that tends to helps our time together run smoothly is to have grandma or another relative or friend bring the kiddos and keep mom and dad out of sight.

I was happy that I could take some of the stress away for this beautiful family and spend some time with these precious siblings.

My favorite part of this photo is Miss O’s sweet little pigtail!
